Adobe
Giving Aussies the tools to level up their digital skills
Creative Campaign / Design / Video Production / Social Media
In response to the Covid pandemic, the Australian Federal Government put out a call for industry to help support the Australian workforce. In response, Adobe, in partnership with 14 of Australia’s leading technology firms and software providers, created Skill Finder. With over 700 free online courses, Skill Finder is a new website that enables every Australian to level-up their knowledge with transferable and useful microskills, covering subjects like coding, graphic design, cloud computing, accounting and more.
TASK
Within a few days, GHO created a campaign that focused on two key aspects of Skill Finder: the variety of people it will help and the simple truth that every one of the 700 courses is free. In the social video, we brought the story of one central character to life, using narrative and animation.
RESULT
With minimal feedback, the campaign was approved with buy-in from all 14 stakeholders. The video and other assets were then shared widely in social media by the key companies, as well as Karen Andrews, Minister for Industry, Science and Technology. The story was picked up by sites including ZDNet, ACS and The AFR.
